Today’s Boston Globe Metro West section featured a story by Steven Rosenberg about public access TV stations dealing with the fast changing cable TV financial environment.  The story featured a photo of NewTV’s news director Jenn Adams at her anchor desk and comments from station director Robert Kelly as well as Adams.

The most interesting detail mentioned is that the NewTV produced “Folklorist” has just been syndicated and will reach 62 million homes around the country starting in July.  If you never seen the Folklorist, check it out.  The New England Emmy award winning program hosted by John Horrigan “weaves tales of intrigue” by combining historic footage and dramatic recreation.

From the article it sounds like our NewTV is pedaling fast to keep ahead of all the changes that are roiling the cable TV industry.
