A local business owner in Upper Falls has just put together a fabulous free service for the neighborhood.  Ben Lee, the owner of Bob’s Subs Stop on Elliot Street, has just launched a free SAT/PSAT tutoring service at the shop on Saturday mornings from 9:00 – 10:30.

Last Saturday was the first class and he got a great response.  He also heard from a number of folks that they  were very interested but weren’t available on Saturday mornings.  So he’s just added a Tuesday after school session from 4:00 –  5:30 PM.

New recruits are welcome to join either the Saturday session this week or the Tuesday session starting next week (March 4).  The free classes will run for four weeks and are taught by instructor Jason Zheng who has 10 years experience tutoring for SAT’s.

Ben hopes to turn this into an Upper Falls institution.  Once the program’s up and running, he hopes to add both math and Chinese language tutoring at the shop.
