With only 22% of the vote for Ted, what folks predicted might be a protest vote against Setti seems more like a whimper.
While his administration is not perfect [whose is?] , I’d say this vote reinforces that most think he’s doing a fine job. No reason to believe the November results will be different.
If Ted is smart, he’ll have volunteers/canvassers to work the traffic jam on Rt 9 by Parker St. It’s a captive audience of thousands of voters who would be receptive to his message.
If Ted is smart, he’ll take a vacation to Belize until November 6.
Ted’s smart. And smart candidates traditionally buy rounds. O’Hara’s would be a good rebuilding point.
I like your thinking Hoss!
Elections can be turned around by open tabs and open bars!
Hmmm, keep your great political strategies coming… (or should I say ‘fantastic’?)
@Hoss and Terry. I thought that trying to buy votes with the drink was exclusively an Irish tradition in America. Actually, it did save a lot of effort that now goes into debates, poster, literature, TV etc. Maybe you are onto something.
