Police looking for missing teenager

Update at 4:05 p.m. Newton Police report that Ana Lopez was found safe.

Newton Police sent an advisory last night that they are looking for a 16-year-old named Ana Lopez (pictured left) who has been missing since Wednesday. Text follows.

The Newton Police are asking for the public’s help in locating 16-year old Ana Lopez of Newton.
Ana last spoke with her mother on the phone, this past Wednesday June 26, 2013, in the area near her home in Chestnut Hill. She told her mother was leaving and has not been seen or heard from since then.

Ana is described as a Hispanic female, 5’2” tall, weighing approximately 150 pounds, brown hair with blonde and red highlights. She also has 2 piercing’s on each side of her lower outer lip.

Ana has been known to frequent Harvard Square, Boston Common and Salem areas

      Police have confirmed she was located in Boston.
