Congratulations to John Horrigan of “The Folklorist,” winner this weekend of an Emmy Award at the 36th Annual Boston/New England Emmy® Awards for best “Program – Host / Moderator” at the Marriott Boston Copley Place in Boston, Massachusetts.

This is the second Emmy Award for NewTV’s “The Folklorist”, as it won in 2012 for best “Promotion Program – Single Spot”. “The Folklorist” was nominated for three Boston/New England Emmy® Awards in 2013 for best “Program – Host / Moderator” (John Horrigan), best “Writer Program” (John Horrigan) and best “Historical / Cultural Program” / Special (Andrew Eldridge, Melinda Garfield, Jesse Kreitzer, John Horrigan).

The first episode of “The Folklorist” has earned five Emmy Award nominations, having been nominated twice in 2012 for best “Promotion Program – Single Spot”.
