Because in Ward 2 there are four declared candidates vying for one seat on Newton’s Board of Aldermen. If all four candidates — Lia Fahey, Jack Leader, Emily Norton and Eve Tapper — stay in the race there will be a run-off in September to narrow the field to two candidates.
