The Charles River Watershed Committee has decided to postpone tomorrow’s schedule cleanup of the Charles River park lands until next Saturday, April 27. This includes the Hemlock Gorge cleanup as well as cleanups organized by other groups up and down the river.

Just as well. It’s still raining and those trails are treacherous when wet. Come join us next Saturday. There will be free sandwiches (gift of Dun Ghareins) and the formal dedication of our new windows in the old Stone Building. Always a great time for the crown jewel of Newton’s open spaces.
