Yay!
Boo!
I just don’t get it. It’s not supposed to start until around noon right? Busses can ride around in snow at the beginning of a storm.
@Greg – look on the bright side – lots of bloggers home for the day to post on Village14! Keep safe y’all.
Yes what about all those folks who are too busy to comment on the blog because they’re making french toast with all eggs, bread and milk they’ve just stocked up on?
We’ll just have to wait until they work off some of those calories by shoveling snow!
@Kim: My first reaction was the same as yours. And I said pretty much the same thing to my teenage son last night as he was rejoicing the day off.
But then he said to me “But what about the kids that take the bus from Boston?” e meant, I assume, our METCO students, who have a much longer commute.
I had to say, that never occurred to me and I wonder if that was, or if it ever is, a factor in making decisions about canceling school.

Greg’s suddenly developing a stutter
My teeth were chattering!
For those who have been wondering: “Gee what will our projected wind speed be?” I say, wonder no longer.
