Lovely!
My favorite line:
When Bob’s not sailing, he’s running with the bulls in Pamplona or marlin fishing in the Keys.
What a great tribute to Bob and a wonderful view of sailing/racing on Boston harbor — especially the video. I’ve seen Bob write about others the same way, and it’s fitting that it comes right back to him; it’s well beyond payback time. It’s an honor to know Bob, and it’s great to see that feeling is shared among so many.
I bet that Hemingway never went “frost sailing.”
And I don’t recall Hemingway blogging his family’s beef stew recipe.
Bruce said it best: a wonderful tribute to a great man and one of Newton’s best.
