State Auditor Suzanne Bump will speak to the Newton Needham Chamber of Commerce on Tuesday, April 24th at a luncheon being held from 11:30 AM until 1:00 PM at Brae Burn Country Club in Newton.
State Auditor Bump, who took office as the newly elected State Auditor in January 2011, will review her experiences during her first year in office, which included sweeping reforms and new approaches to systematic oversight of how state government spends money and delivers services. As State Auditor she believes modernizing the processes of oversight will result in more effective, efficient, and accountable state government services and programs for the taxpayers of Massachusetts.
The luncheon at which State Auditor Bump will speak is organized by the Newton Needham Chamber’s Women in Networking Committee and is open to all members of the Chamber and the public.
