The Tab reported today that Dari Donovan, the incoming principal of the Lincoln-Eliot school has got cold feet.  Donovan’s appointment was announced on Feb 27 by the Newton School Committee and she was due to start in July.

There were no details in the story about why she had seconds thoughts.  It does seem a bit usual to back out of a high profile job more than six weeks after accepting the position.  I’m curious whether the details will eventually emerge.
