Echo Bridge not only inspires musicians in search of a natural echo. It also inspired a local band called Echo Bridge Bluegrass who were together for twelve years of bluegrass music from deep in the hills of Newton Upper Falls. Here’s their tribute to Echo Bridge.
The band featured Mark Bridger, one of the newly elected members of Upper Falls Area Council.

Jerry finds another gem. I’ve known Mark Bridger for 30 years, at least, but had no idea he was into folk and bluegrass and that he did it so well. Maybe we can forward this to Sandy Sheehan who does “Traditional Folk” at WUMB on Sunday evenings. That is, if Mark approves.
Jerry, If you and your movement keep this up, Upper Falls will need ordinances for Duck Boats and sausage carts! What’s next? Groupons for the Reilly Motor Inn and Coffee House? (I had wondered what the new construction at retail space at the corner of Elliot and Reservoir was for…)
@Hoss – Duck Boats over the falls, now there’s an exciting ride. I’ll get right on it.
