Newton aldermen approve override special election

Newton’s Board of Aldermen just voted 23-0 (with Alderman Merrill absent) in favor of placing three override questions on the ballot on March 12, 2013, according to Tweets from Newton Patch and wickedlocalnewton.

    Although the final vote was basically unanimous, I’m pleased to see there was a healthy debate occurring within the BOA.

    Such an improved BOA since 10 years ago. I still have problems with some, but it’s definitely much improved.
