This Sunday the Newton Farmers’ Market is celebrating its 40th year with Food, Fun & Farmers, a HUGE market of over 40 farms and food entrepreneurs outside city hall’s war memorial. There are free raffles every 5 minutes, with prizes like a 6-month delivery of gluten free, healthy, cookie dough, lobster dinners, Egyptian Koshari meals, and ice cream from the award-winning New City Microcreamery. Sample new foods, pick up prepared meals, stock up on farm-fresh produce, and dance to the rock and roll tunes of Newton’s own Border Street Band.
