The upshot is that they will now bury that section of the utility line!
It looks to be close to the point where traffic enters route 9. Could be conflicts with merging cars?
Not really. It’s up the hill before (but not too close to) Dudley Road. The merge from Parker, I think, is far enough behind.
I took an almost identical photo on Aug 10, 2013. Yes, it also seems like “a year or two ago” to me too…
