Welcome back Kara! It’s been kind of, well, fixless around here without you.
And an added plug here for anyone who has never been to the St. Mary of Carmen Festival. I say it every year, it’s a Newton gem.
Thanks for posting that event, mgwa. Sounds like it will be an incredible experience.
And thanks, Greg! I’m hoping to make it for the flight of the angel this year!
The angel flight (Sunday night, with fireworks, btw) is an amazing event, unlike anything else in Newton.
From all of the members of the St. Mary of Carmen Society, I would just like to thank all who attended the Festival this year to once again make it so successful on every level possible! And on a personal note, I would like to thank the committee for all their hard work, not just last week, but also through out the year in the planning of such a large event. And to all the City officials who contribute to making this happen each year, Thank you! Especially Mayor Warren, Parks & Rec Commissoner Bob DeRubeis, and of course our members, Board of Alderman President Scott Lennon and Alderman At Large Jay Ciccone
Thanks to you Greg and Kara for your support and help and getting out the word
