According to a story on Newton Patch, Janet Sterman has pulled papers to run for alderman at-large in Ward 1, Norman Sirk has pulled papers for both the ward alderman and alderman at-large seats in Ward 6, and Eric Hill took out papers for the Ward 3 alderman seat.
As of today (June 1), Sterman would be running against Scott Lennon and Allan (Jay) Ciccone, Jr.; Sirk would run against Dick Blazar or Greg Schwartz and Vicki Danberg; and, Hill would run against Anthony Salvucci.
Ted Hess Mahan –
By my calendar, it’s June 3rd. Did I miss something in the last few days? 😉
@Jerry: Did you ever consider a career in journalism?
Why go into journalism when you can start at the top as a Village 14 blogger?
@Greg: Point taken.
A curious detail in the Patch story is that Norman Sirk took out papers for both the at-large and ward alderman seat. I presume he can only get on the ballot for one or the other seat, but not both.
No, then I’d have to listen to an editor, rather than just spewing whatever random thoughts come into my head.
