An elderly woman died in a house fire on Friday that was caused by smoking, according to Wicked Local Newton’s Trevor Jones. Authorities are not yet identifying the victim, according to the story.
The house, located at 30-32 Rowe St. in Auburndale, is owned by Doris Damian and Noam Shoresh, according to the city of Newton’s assessor’s database.
