We’ll be bringing a bit of Bavaria to Upper Falls on Sunday Sept 18 for the Upper Falls Oktoberfeast.
The first 200 Upper Falls residents who sign up for free tickets at FeastOfTheFalls.org starting at exactly 5 PM next Sunday (Sept 11) will be joining us the following Sunday for Oktoberfeast
This community event is brought to you by the Feast of The Falls crew but is something totally new.
Oktoberfeast will take place in Dunn Gaherins parking lot on Sunday Sept 18. It will run from 2 – 6 PM. Come by any time in that window and enjoy beer and German foods with your neighbors. Each ticket entitles you to a single beer and as much food as you like. Any additional beer will be via cash bar. Kids are welcome to and we’ll provide suitable beverages for them too.
Oktoberfeast is brought to you by four of our neighborhood food businesses – Dunn Gaherins, Better Life Food, Bettinas Bakery and Little Luke’s Cafe. We’re delighted that Bettina is joining us for the first time this year and will be providing a German desert. Little Luke’s Cafe is another newcomer this year. Little Luke’s Cafe will be opening in the coming month(s) in the Depot Cafe premises.
We also all owe a debt of gratitude to our financial sponsors – Upper Falls CDC, Northland Development, and the Redi dispensary.
Special thanks to Shogun Curtis for designing this way cool logo.
Upper Falls residents, be sure to get your free Oktoberfeast tickets today, Sun Sept 11 at 5 PM at FeastOfTheFalls.org
Lots of fun happening in Upper Falls this Sunday! If you were lucky enough to grab a ticket to Octoberfest at Dunn Gaherins, stop over before or after for some free live music outside at the Depot Coffee Shoppe at 1225 Chestnut St. from 3-4PM. As part of Newton Community Pride’s Fall Village Concert Series, Newton resident and singer/songwriter Chad Perrone will be performing on the guitar and accompanied by Dennis Carrol on keyboard. It will be a great show! Bring a chair, a beverage, a snack and enjoy an afternoon of music and community. More details here about this performance and our other two village concerts on September 25 in Newton Corner and October 2nd in Nonantum. https://newtoncommunitypride.org/fall-village-concert-series/
