Newton’s Senior Center Sponsored Parkinson’s (PD) Support Group was recently reconstituted by our volunteer facilitator Dan Reilly. Our group is growing and we extend a warm welcome to all who have PD, as well as their family members and friends. We currently meet at 10:30 AM on the last Monday of every month. You can join us directly at the Senior Center or on ZOOM. Our next meeting is on Monday, March; 28th at 10:30 AM.

Our four primary goals are to:

1. Provide emotional support, advice and tips from personal experiences about the many life challenges that come with PD.
2. Create a sense of community and partnership around these shared experiences to counter loneliness, anxiety and isolation. None of us have to fight this struggle alone.
3. Provide a forum to hear from PD related professionals in the Newton area.
4. Obtain and disseminate accurate and up to date information on PD and various treatment options.
You can either join us live at the Senior Center or register in advance to join us on ZOOM.

Please place the registration key below into your browser.

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email from Ilana Seidman at the Senior Center with information about joining the meeting.

Again, just come to the Senior Center around 10:30 AM if you want to participate in the live meeting.

We can learn so much from each other and the professionals we hope to have at future meetings. You do not have to battle this disease alone. We help each other, and it works.
