    Impressively embarrassing.

Both contests feature an Asian American woman running against a woman who wears her hair in a bob. Perhaps we’re asking too much of our paper of record.

Wow, that is funny as heck!! Thanks for the chuckles, Jerry!

Wouldn’t expect that from Julie (although it prob wasn’t even her that selected the photo). But since we’re on topic….

As an Asian American, I was very excited about the prospect of an Asian Mayor in Boston. But as I learned more about Michelle’s policies…then Anissa’s… I found myself more alighted with Anissa’s political views. More grounded; more common sense. Same reasons why I’m supporting Amy in Newton. :-)

(Although I do appreciate Michelle’s desire for free MBTA. It would make density in Newton more tolerable.) #commonsense

Yes, two strong Asian American women are running for Mayors of Boston and Newton. Amy was a mentor to Michelle and supports her candidacy. Besides being Asian American, there are a few other similarities: both challenge developers instead of being walked over by them; both care about truly affordable housing; and both want fare-free transit (Michelle for the MBTA and Amy wants to eliminate school bus fees). But, still, how sloppy is this?

Their Harvard-educated journalists can’t spell Thomas Paine—even when the graphics tip them off. https://patch.com/massachusetts/newton/rep-jake-auchincloss-receives-dpccs-thomas-paine-award

Well, it looks like I’m confusing The Patch with The Tab. Neither are any good these days. Thank goodness we have Village 14!
