Newton Neighbors Helping Neighbors is partnering with The Street Chestnut Hill to organize a school supplies drive to benefit children in Newton and Brockton. This drive will run from August 16 through August 27. Drop off donations right on The Street Chestnut Hill at Legit Activewear, sukker & sweet, or Oddfellows.
Their goal is to collect school supplies for 200 children. Newton Neighbors will distribute the donations in time for the first day of school.
Please consider donating:
- Good-quality new or gently used backpacks (backpacks for middle and high school students are the most needed)
- New or used graphing calculators
- Pens and pencils
- $25 gift cards to Star Market for families to purchase school supplies.
