Boston Magazine just published it’s Best of Boston readers poll and named Village14 founder Greg Reibman as an outstanding “local hero” for all his work with the Chamber of Commerce to help the community and local businesses weather the Covid tsunami of 2020-2021.
Well deserved. I think it would be a mistake to attribute Greg’s activities solely to his official position in charge of the business of running the Chamber. Beyond that, he has a deep and abiding affection for and concern with the people who run and work in local businesses, and he understands that the success of those firms has implications for the community that go well beyond their individual income statements. The level of his commitment during this period was exemplary.
I’m so happy to see Greg recognized for all he’s done for the region. Bravo!
Leadership, now more widely recognized.
Very well deserved.
I was a subscriber to Greg’s NNChamber Newsletter before COVID, but oh my, how critical that morning 411 was during & still!!
Congrats and well-deserved kudos, Greg!
Congratulations to Greg. Very well-deserved. I work with numerous small businesses in Newton, Needham & Wellesley whose owners have told me that Greg’s morning emails throughout the pandemic kept them informed and helped guide them on next steps. He has been a real asset to the small business community.
I’m sorry, but I’ve never heard of this fellow. By all accounts though, I’m sure the recognition is well-deserved.
Thank you, Greg, for all you’ve done to help our small businesses make it through this time.
Greg is a true local hero. Very happy to call him a friend and know that he’ll be helping make Newton better and kinder for the foreseeable future.
