The campaign for the upcoming City Council special election is a whole different animal thanks to Covid. There are no candidates knocking on doors, no meet-and-greets in your neighbor’s living room. Instead, like nearly every aspect of our lives these days, it’s mostly happening on Zoom.
The good news is that it provides a very easy and convenient way to learn about the candidates, ask them questions and hear what they have to say on the issues facing the city. All the candidates are holding these very regularly. Here are two that you can sign up for, or if those are inconvenient times, check out the candidate’s web site for their schedule of other campaign Zoom gatherings.
Meet candidates Tarik Lucas and John Oliver on Zoom tonight, Wed Feb 17, 7:30-8:30 PM. Sign up here
Meet candidates Madeline Ranalli and Bryan Barash on Zoom tomorrow, Thurs Feb 18 at 7 PM. Sign up here
If tomorrow doesn’t work for you, we have a number of events left, which you can see and sign up for here: https://www.bryanbarash.com/events
All of the candidates have websites and you can go to them and click on Events to sign up for a discussion.

I hope I got this right. If anyone knows if David Micley has a website, please help me to update this inclusive post.
