Richard Rasala is a Newton resident and a retired Professor and Associate Dean in the Khoury College of Computer Sciences at Northeastern.
I have now developed these two sites that post Newton zoning documents:
Newton Zoning Documents {focused on 2020 and going forward}
Newton Historical Zoning Documents {2007 to 2019}
Each site prominently links to the other site so you only need save the first link.
The new historical documents site is based on references by ZAP and by the Planning Dept in assorted documents.
I hope these sites will be helpful for the city and its citizens.
Note: The first site was announced on Village 14 in September and has been updated quite a bit since then:

Thank you so much @Professor Rasala! Your ears must have been burning… i had a question about zoning just a short few hours ago.
Are you familiar with a company called
CoUrbanize, and if so, could you tell me about the work they did or are continuing to do on the Newton Zoning Redesign Project? Would I find any documents related to this company on either of the zoning document
websites you mentioned?
Thank you so much.
The consulting company hired to do public outreach, create the Pattern Book, and develop the first draft of the new Zoning Ordinance was Sasaki. I did not come across the name CoUrbanize. Of course I have not read every word of all documents posted.
CoUrbanize was the consulting firm the city hired to conduct the visioning study for the Riverside Project.
Thank you both very much.
“Visioning”. What a hip and cutting edge term. Gonna have to figure out a way to work that into my everyday vibe.
Sounds impressive and important.
…and very expensive
