I don’t share a lot of Newton-Needham Chamber content on this site but I think some people will find this conversation I had today with six local restaurant owners to be of interest.
What restaurant owners need

Greg. Thanks for posting this. Ways of helping and publicizing restaurants and other small village businesses was a major topic of discussion as last night’s Newton Highlands Area Council meeting. We came up with several innovative possibilities and we are exploring the feasibility of each. In the short term, it will really help If people just go for take out once or twice a week at a village of city restaurant. They are all struggling.
We have been spreading the wealth:
Rice Valley
Farm Grille on Needham Street
Pressed
Stone L’Oven
Walnut Grille
Fiorella’s
Los Amigos
Cafe Landwer (that is in Brookline but so yummy)
Pressed was most impressive with their on time and accurate order!
I want to support local businesses!
When restaurants start to accept dine-in, newton restaurants should emphasize the lack of density, available parking and relatively larger dining areas compared to the more popular boston, brookline…
Bugek, do Newton restaurants actually have those things?
