The Massachusetts Black & Latino Caucus today released recommendations to address police brutality in our communities. You can view the entire press conference announcing this effort on Facebook here.
Among the recommendations are 2 policies to be implemented at the municipal level. They are as follows:
Municipal
9. Declaring Racism is a Public Health Crisis and worthy of treatment, assessment and financial investment in order to eradicate negative health impacts.
10. Create a Civil Review Board/Commission with subpoena power to investigate allegations of law enforcement wrongdoing.
