This is cute. You can vote No and still be friends with everyone!
Where’d that Like button go?
Matt gets the credit for pulling this together. I love it!
Lovely!
No like button so maybe this will do:
I agree with the principle that civil adults can disagree respectfully. But I find the misinformation in many “no” fliers, postings, and letters uncivil and/or disrespectful. So why should I be expected to return their incivility and disrespect with respect?
Can’t take full credit. It was actually Allison and David Kalis’ idea from another FB post. I just happen to know a little Photoshop.
Watch out, some of you might be next!! ;-)
Matt: Looking forward to meeting some day but I can already say we’re “Village 14 friends”
I’m grateful for your willingness to engage here. I wish more Right Sizers were too. Seems like they’re depending on just Simon and you to carry on the, um, “conversation” here.
Best thing I’ve seen on the internet in a long time!
Are there beers involved when this is all done?
Greg – You’d like Matt a lot. He was a great support during the cannabis retail referendum election. He’s able to maintain his sense of humor -and more importantly, he understands the importance of maintaining civil relationships while disagreeing on an issue because six months from now you may very well be on the same side of another issue.
@Chuck – yes, we need to make that happen. I’m going to propose Tuesday, March 10 at 7:30 at Dunn Gaherins. Who’s in???
Even though he is not officially a spokesperson for RightSize. I think Matt has been RightSize’s single best communication asset, especially since their official voice has been so mute (i.e. no clear spokesperson).
As Jane says one of Matt’s great virtues is his sense of humor. He’s passionate, he’s outspoken, he’s everywhere and he can always still laugh.
I look forward to March 4 regardless of the outcome. I look forward to more laughter, especially here in Upper Falls.
@Allison Sharma – Great idea. “Pint-Sized Newton”, March 10 at Dunn Gaherins. See you, and I hope Matt, there. Yes, No and Maybe’s all welcome
Although Matt and I have rarely been on the same side of any issue, always admire his posts. They are never rants, or rude. I totally get his POV even though I feel differently.
Allison has the patience of a saint in educating and clarifying the many misconceptions popping up about Northland. Thank you both!!
We are so lucky to have Matt and Allison sharing information in our forum in such a polite and positive way.
