What a great story! And what a great quote from Mini Mart owner Charlie Patel:
“I love my cop. He’s my heart. The cop is my heart.”
The amazing video tells it all. Thankfully the police officer was highly disciplined, or that scene would have ended very differently.
Greg, why did it takes weeks before you recognized this story?
@Peter: This is a volunteer blog. But since we don’t like our readers to be disappointed, we’re going to let you post comments for free for the rest of this year. (I just hope everyone else reading this doesn’t ask for the same thing.)
@Greg – How come Peter gets to comment for free? I pay more for my Village14 subscription than my cable and internet bill combined – Not fair!
Truth is Jerry, Peter is constantly repeating a comment about reducing the council, pretty much no matter what the topic is. It feels wrong to charge him each time for the same comment.
Greg, you are a funny guy! I enjoy your daily back and forth with Jim Epstein whatever the blog! Finally, you have met your match!
