From in Michael Levenson in the Boston Globe…
“We need a voice for the exhausted majority, the people who are tired of the ‘us-versus-them,’ far-left, far-right populism,” said [Newton City Councilor Jake] Auchincloss, a former Marine who served in Afghanistan.
[City Councilor Becky Walker] Grossman, a former prosecutor and the daughter-in-law of Steve Grossman, said she’s giving serious consideration because “I think the future of our country is at a critical moment,” and “it’s a time for bold leadership to step up.”
It looks like Deb Goldberg and Jesse Mermell from Brookline will join the race. You will probably get a few candidates from the Fall River area as well.
@Peter: Didn’t you write on an earlier thread that I was going to run?
Apparently your sources were wrong because I didn’t see my name anywhere in this article.
@Greg: Don’t feel bad. I didn’t see my name either.
@Greg – word was you were considering a run. What did your polling numbers look like?
