    The West Newton YMCA has announced that they’ll be free and open to the public on Saturday and Sunday. Pool included!

      Many, many thanks to our first responders and everyone else who is working outside today, including the volunteers and vendors at the always fantastic Mary St Carmen festival.

    The procession in the Lake was smaller than usual. Everyone who did walk was red-faced and dripping. Talk about dedication! We gave out plenty of cold water. Check on your elder neighbors and hydrate!

    It’s less hot now. Still hot and also rainy but it was hotter before so I suppose that’s good.
