The West Newton Farmers’ Market on Elm Street is hopping this Saturday with art activities, games, contests for all ages, and Newton’s own Border Street Band. Pick up fresh produce, cool down with ice cream, and for those 21+, sample adult beverages from Stormalong Cider and Westport Rivers Winery while showing off your cornhole mastery. The market’s open from 9:30 am – 12:30 pm. Check out all the market activities this Saturday here: https://conta.cc/2NEP0ue
The kids morning was fun today. Looking forward to fireworks.
The Farmers Market gets better and better! I love when that band is there, they are great. I miss Country Desserts, though.
Mary Mary Quite Contrary, we miss Country Desserts too! Such a great, local bakery. So many vendors find it a challenge to find and afford market staff. But, cheer up, cuz Clear Flour Bakery is joining the Saturday market beginning July 13th, and then there’s new-to-the-market Yummy Mummy, Fournos, and the return of Sweet Rossella later in the season.
