    Does anyone know if Carter was allowed to appear on the program by himself?

    Seems only fair but I seem to recall that League rules don’t allow for that.

    Welp, MPD proudly claims to be the “Governor’s Council only full-time member” so it’s likely she was working overtime that evening doing…that thing Governor’s Councilors do.

    I can’t believe that she continues to be voted into office. Hopefully that will change this time around. Vote for Nick Carter.

    In answer to the question about League of Women Voter rules, we cannot hold what’s called ’empty chair’ debates where there is only one candidate. We need at least two to appear. Sorry!

    Given “Robert Solomon’s” ageist and sexist comment, I think I’ll vote for Marilyn. Thanks, Robert, for outing the quality of Carter’s supporters.

    Robert’s comment was out of line but to say that one comment from one person is representative of the quality of Nick Carter’s supporters seems out of line as well.
