Gary is better and more direct on the issues than his opponent. For example, Gary signed the No Fossil Fuel Money pledge, which aligns with his decade-long work on climate policy, whereas his opponent still hasn’t taken that simple but revealing pledge.
Gary’s platform and record are rooted in social justice and a commitment to a better future for our kids & future generations. I’m excited & proud to support him!
I’ve contacted Congressman Kennedy’s office to voice my concern on a number of policy issues, and not once has his office so much as acknowledged my communication. Does it really take that much to at least have one of your interns send out a form-letter response? I’m under the impression either that the congressman lacks any managerial competence whatsoever, or else he’s extremely arrogant and has no regard for his constituents. Maybe both actually.
I think that Joe Kennedy has grown a lot in office. He’s recently moderated his support for the NSA and their massive data collection program. But he’s still woefully out of touch with his constituents on cannabis. NORML [National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws] gives Kennedy a grade of “D” for his backward thinking on cannabis reform. It’s an important issue to a lot of people in this district, and I would think his congressional opponent would take advantage of that.
