| Newton MA News and Politics BlogNext Sunday, July 15 you’re invited to dine at the long table – you won’t be disappointed.

On Sunday, July 15,  300 Upper Falls friends and neighbors will once again gather around one very long table in Hemlock Gorge for the 6th annual Feast of the Falls.

The Feast of the Falls is a community gathering like you’ve never seen.  At 5 PM as the neighbors of Upper Falls walk through the streets towards the Feast the church bells begin ringing.  The guests arrived over Echo Bridge to the decorated woods full of the music of a string quartet wafting through the trees. They sit down at one long 300 foot table for a four course gourmet dinner, served by their elected officials and the familiar faces from local businesses.  When dinner ends, guests are invited to gather around the Upper Falls street piano where neighbors will play and sing together.  As darkness falls, the guests leave via an illuminated Echo Bridge that have been decorated by the children of the neighborhood.

While the Feast is a celebration of the Upper Falls neighbors, we have reserved 20 tickets that will be available for guests from anywhere to purchase ($40).  No matter where you live you’ll get a warm welcome from this crowd and enjoy a night you won’t soon forget.  Click here to join the party.
