According to the Harvard Crimson, former Newton mayor Setti Warren will be the next executive director at the Kennedy School’s Shorenstein Center on Media, Politics, and Public Policy.
“[Center Director Nicco] Mele said as executive director, Warren will not only be responsible for the daily operations of the Center, but will also be in charge of helping him “set strategy and direction.”
This is an ideal position for Setti Warren, who reset the table in Newton at the local level and now is ready to reset the table at the national level. It is impressive that the Kennedy School, which has set the standard for public discourse nationally, has chosen a politician who knows local, grassroots politics, where the future of the country will and must begin again.
Congratulations, Setti. As your first official act, please take away Corey Lewandowski’s fellowship, because he is an a**hole.
So well said Mr. Friedman. I couldn’t have said t better. Happy and proud of Setti!
At this time in our nation’s history this is a very important position at a very well-respected and vital institution. Congratulations Mayor Warren.
Jose,
Soon… employers and employees will want to know each others political beliefs before being hired or wanting to work there. Managers will start to quietly discriminate against employees who have different beliefs..
Horrible how divisive BOTH parties have become…
Bugek-My original comment was deleted because apparently here in the Village, one can call the Trump/Harvard apparatchik an a**hole, but I cannot allude to a Clinton/Obama/Harvard apparatchik who was actually fired for being one, as such.
A fine example of where we are headed in our corner of the nation.
But thank you, I’ll try to conform to the convenience of the party line more frequently.
