“Strange fish tree sighted in Lower Falls park.”

A few hours later Andrew Hodgdon posted this:

The Very Very True Story of Nessie

At night old Nessie swims the locks
At early morn she climbs the rocks
When slithering to her Maple home
On bike path she’s been known to roam

There she lives a face in trees
Condemned to sunlit immobility
But as the sunlight fades again
she slides her carcass back again

I’m told she harmless day or night
But changing sun can bring a fright
if you come near her transport throws
she always nibbles children’s toes

So sunrise walkers, sunset dogs
Soccer kids or baseball frogs
Wear solid shoes, pick up your feet
When dim light finds you on the street
