NewTV’s team members won four additional Emmy® Awards on Saturday, June 2 at the Marriott Boston Copley Place for their work on Assassin Nation: “Baltimore Plot” and American Ruins: “Bannerman’s Castle.” This bring the total Emmy® wins for NewTV to thirteen, with nine previous awards received for The Folklorist.
There was a tie in the Performer/Narrator category, and both winners were from the NewTV production Assassin Nation: “Baltimore Plot,” and Assassin Nation earned the Historical/Cultural Program/Segment award. Andrew Eldridge and Angela Harrer received the Photographer Short Form award for American Ruins: “Bannerman’s Castle.”
NewTV is proud of the success of its original programs, which would not be possible without the hard work and dedication of the staff, interns, cast and crew.
Congratulations!
Great programming on NEWTV. Assassin Nation and American Ruins were both 5 star productions. My only complaint is that the schedules are a bit confusing so I forget when certain programs I like are on. I’m also more preoccupied than I should be with unfolding events in Washington, but I don’t think I’m alone in this.
We are so lucky to have such a professional local TV station. Congratulations once again. It never gets old.
