The ongoing community conversation that aims to explore a future vision for Washingon Street kicks into full gear this week stating with the Hello Washington Street! “Kick-off” session this Tuesday (June 5) at Newton North from 5:30 pm to 8:30 p.m.
Then there’s the opening of the “Pop up Workspace” at 1239 Washington Street in West Newton to see how the design work is progressing. It is open from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 pm from June 7 through June 12. This will be an opportunity for all attendees to add thoughts and react to comments of others.
And there’s a Community Block Party + Check-In, Sunday, June 10, 1 – 4 p.m.; a Chili Cookoff + Wrap-Up, Tuesday, June 12, 6 – 8 p.m.
