The Newton Family Singers and Team Believe have joined together to bring you a concert with a purpose. On April 9 at 4pm, please join us for One Voice, A Concert Benefiting Best Buddies, at the Reimer-Goldstein Theater of the JCC Newton, 333 Nahanton Street, Newton Center.
The Newton Family Singers will sing a program of songs about strength, diversity, inclusion and friendship by an eclectic group of popular artists such as Natalie Merchant, U2, Katy Perry, Matisyahu, Carole King and many more. These songs are sure to inspire and bring joy to you and your family! Clap and sing along with the Newton Family Singers as we bring awareness and support for Best Buddies, an organization that offers friendship, employment and leadership opportunities for individuals with disabilities!
All proceeds from the show will benefit Best Buddies. Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for kids. Purchase tickets to the show, or become a corporate or family sponsor, all on our web site at www.newtonfamilysingers.org/events, or email us at [email protected].

@Chris – not everyone know what Best Buddies is (I don’t). You might want to be sure your posters and announcements let people know what it is, to raise interest in supporting them.
I was passing along as a favor to the organizer – Perhaps I can encourage one of them to weigh in here and say more? (Folks? Step in…)
Best Buddies is the world’s largest organization dedicated to ending the social, physical and economic isolation of the 200 million people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).
It includes much more than this but one thing that I know about from experience is students befriending other students who have IDD – watching movies, playing video games etc. If needed students help explain classroom discussions, take notes or assist them in the library.
