The TAB’s Jonathan Dame has created two interactive maps showing what of the vote Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump received in their respective presidential primaries on March. I’m not sure what, if anything, it tells us but have at it.
Which Newton wards favored Clinton and Trump in their respective primaries?

We were well aware that Kasich and Hillary would do extremely well in the more affluent parts of Newton long before the first primary votes were cast on March 1st. Marie Jackson and I canvassed a full day for Bernie in Ward 7 and it was the most frustrating and least productive time I’ve ever had on the campaign trail. The campaign then shifted gear and several of us spent time in small blue collar cities and towns in Central and southeastern Massachusetts where the outpouring of support and personal affection for Sanders from Democrats and independents of all ages was unbelievably strong. He was getting support from voters who told us they had voted for Governor Baker, George Bush Jr. and Barney Frank’s republican opponent during that tumultuous 2010 campaign. In many of these cities and towns, the totals for Bernie surpassed or came close to the totals for Trump and Hillary combined. I, along with Bruce Henderson, Rachel Rosenbaum and other Newton Bernie stalwarts saw this trend with blue collar voters repeat itself in New Hampshire, Connecticut, Rhode Island and even in Maine which has a closed caucus system. I think we can keep these good folks in the Democratic column in most parts of the Country through November, but it will take Bernie’s support and a full recognition by the party establishment of just how strong Bernie’s support was in these areas and the reasons it was so deep and strong.
I can’t imagine anyone is surprised about which districts had the highest percentages of being pro-Hillary.
