We have the Farmers Market at Cold Spring Park and now in West Newton too.  In the winter we have the indoor Farmers Market at the Hyde Center.  Next up is a Plumbers Market.

Says Councilor John Rice, “Once the winter market shuts down at the Hyde there’s a void.  We’re hoping the new Plumbers Market will kindle a bit of excitement through the summer months.”

“We’re a brand new market but we’ve already lined up a great selection of locally sourced PVC, artisanal zone valves, heirloom ballcocks, and handcarved mahogany drain pipes.”

“We’re very excited to be part of the fledgling “Plumb Local” movement.  We anticipate a big demand from discerning Newton shoppers who are tired of uniform factory made plumbing”.
