To mark the opening of Mario Quiroz’ photography exhibit, Progressive Newton, the Brazilian Worker‘s Center and the NPL are sponsoring a reception at the Newton Public Library tomorrow, Wednesday January 6, 2016 from 7:00 pm8:30 p.m.

This exhibit of domestic workers portraits is entitled “Invisible No More”  in celebration of the new Massachusetts Domestic Worker Bill of Rights the legislature passed last session.

Enjoy desserts and beverages, meet Mario Quiroz and hear from Natalicia Tracy, Executive Director of the Brazilian Worker Center, one of the lead groups in the fight for the Domestic Worker Bill of Rights.  The discussion will be on how to make sure that employers are implementing the bill here in Newton.
