Something interesting I noticed while on the Tour de Newton. (you really do see much more when you’re not in a car) This is an old trolley pole, the third in a series along Washington Street leading up to Trader Joe’s, itself an old car barn for the Newton Street Railway. The trolley poles host a single cable to serve a fire call box.
Can anyone spot other trolley poles in Newton?
