Curated by AJ Liberto (Somerville, MA and Amherst, MA) and Kate True (Boston, MA), Upsodown brings together the work of ten visual artists from the South, West, and East Coasts to explore the transformative power of carnival— Seth Alverson, Nick Cave, Robert Colescott, Marcus Kenney, Eli Kessler, AJ Liberto, Clifford Owens, Joyce Pensato, Tara Sellios and Summer Wheat.
In the Holzwasser Gallery, “In Praise of Folly” will feature the work of Carol Blackwell and Gail Hansen.

It is time to build! Using only recycled and other materials, you will create your own unique and amazing objects to bring home to play with or display. Build a space ship, a robot, or a doll house, it is all up to you! All materials included.
Josh and the Jamtones Concert

Temple Shalom Nursery School of Newton welcomes back Josh and the Jamtones for another awesome concert! Join us on the Martin Luther King holiday, Monday, January 21 at 10:30 a.m. in the Temple social hall. Move and groove to the coolest rock n’ roll band playing for kids and families. Josh Shriber and his 5 piece band will perform original songs from their new CD “JUMP UP!”
