The 30th annual “Run of the Charles” canoe and kayak race was today. It’s sort of a canoe extravaganza and includes 6, 9, and 19 mile races, a 24-mile, five-leg canoe relay race, and a 26-mile professional marathon.
I forgot all about the race being today. This afternoon my wife was working on the Upper Falls Greenway cleanup. When she reached the river, she spotted the canoes and kayaks flying by.
