It may be time to buy the Newton Tab a 2012 calendar. Today’s issue of the Tab features the startling front page news that this year’s Boston Marathon will be run on a Sunday for the first time ever. Inside they announced that the last day of school this year for Newton’s school children will be on a Saturday.
As someone who has had a lifelong affliction with messing up days and dates, I can sympathize. I once sent out five consecutive newsletters with wrong dates in them. After the complaints from the first two, I had no excuse.
So don’t worry Tab, we know it can happen to anyone. Just throw out those 2011 calendars and remember, Thanksgiving is going to be on Thursday this year.
I’m sending out my reporters to quietly collect as many papers as they can find. I know I’m going to be hearing about this one for YEARS.
It’s just you again Jerry. You didn’t fall and hit your head on an abandoned rail line did you?
The obvious explanation is that the Tab got the date for April Fools wrong this year ;-)
Jerry, you must be one of the very few who still read the Stab – she was testing to see if there reilly was someone who read it! – you passed with flying color of green. For that you win a free yearlong subscription..
Now if I could just get them to throw in free delivery too …
