I’m just back from Countryside school’s Multicultural Festival.  It’s an annual event but this is the first time we’ve attended.  It was quite an extravaganza.  There were tables representing 23 different countries of Countryside families full of toys, musical instruments, clothing … from all around the world and of course lots of delicious food.   The 2nd half of the evening was entertainment featuring kids from ten countries performing dance, singing, drumming from their family’s native or ancestral countries.

The place was packed to capacity and it looked like a party at the United Nations.  Congratulations to Countryside School and their PTO for putting together this great annual event.
