Early this morning at the very end of Chestnut St in Upper Falls a trash truck was picking up trash.  As it pulled away from the curb, the machinery continued to turn.  As the truck drove down the street it began methodically distributing trash along Chestnut St.  It turned the corner on Oak St and as it drove up the hill, the still spinning machinery snagged a half dozen overhead wires and pulled them down.

At 8:30AM, the police and the two trash trucks were dealing with the aftermath and cleaning things up.
