The candidates for Newton special election for Ward 1
* John Oliver
* Madeline Ranalli
What happens when it gets to the end of a local election and a citizen is completely exhausted by the campaign? What happens when that citizen has had his fill of emails, and Zoom meet and greets, and endorsements, and nasty campaign ads? What happens if that citizen happened to hear a story in the car today about a site called ArtBreeder that takes pairs of images and combines them? What happens if that citizen has some old morphing software on his computer and way too much time on his hands this evening?
Well if that citizen is me, you get this. Morphed photos of the candidates running for City Council … for absolutely no good reason, civic utility, or constructive purpose.
You’re welcome
@Jerry,
NOW I am traumatized…
If I had known you had time on your hands, I would have asked for help doing the laundry. I have a big load this week.
1. Much needed humor. Thanks @jerry
2. Hoping these candidates do not procreate together :-)

Here’s a little film I call Newton’s Peaceful Transition of Power
Don’t worry, Jerry. There are effective treatments for this syndrome.
No my doctor tells me it’s a chronic degenerative condition. I get worse with each passing hour. By morning who knows what I’ll be posting.
Here’s my favorite so far. I call it Great Actors With Great Hats .
It features two fine actors that have performed with the Newton Nomadic Theater – Slava Tchoul in the role of the bellhop in No Exit and NNT founder Linda Goetz performing with the Newton Theater Company in the Importance of Being Earnest … truly sublime.
This one is called Jerry on Village14
Typically, Jerry endorses all candidates. Of course, he claims it’s “by accident”. I think this is his way of doing the same, at least in his own reality.
